Occupational Medicine & Workers Compensation Injuries
Occupational medicine focuses on the health, safety, and performance of the worker and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
At Ohio Sports & Spine Institute, our physicians specialize in treating workplace injuries and illnesses through Workers Compensation in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
We understand that lost work time due to injury or illness can be painful and expensive. Our primary goal is to help patients return to the workforce as safely and quickly as possible. We provide injured workers with the highest quality and most cost-effective evidence-based care.
We communicate with employers, managed care organizations, and vocational rehabilitation consultants by determining a plan for the injured worker’s safe return to work. We evaluate their current functional capacity and identify any functional limitations.
Our emphasis includes making an accurate diagnosis followed by the appropriate evidence-based medical care and rehabilitation. Our highly trained physical therapy staff provides active and functional rehabilitation with on-site physicians at all three locations.
