Meet Dr. DiDomenico

Dr. DiDomenico

As a local native, Dr. DiDomenico’s education has included undergraduate education at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA and completed his Chiropractic training at National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in 1985 currently known as the National University of Health Science. He holds Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate in Chiropractic degrees. He earned fellowship status as a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist (DACO) and also Board Certification with the American Chiropractic Board of Chiropractic Consultants.

He began private practice in Canfield, Ohio in 1985 and opened a second office in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1987. In 1995, Dr. DiDomenico became one of the original founders of the current multidisciplinary practice Ohio Sports and Spine Institute alongside Dr. Joseph Cerimele and Dr. John Dunne. Together they provide medical specialties including Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine as well as Chiropractic Orthopedic specialty services with additional services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, athletic training, and speech therapy ensuring more people receive personalized expert therapy services.

He has served on the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Disability Evaluators Panel since 1995 providing Independent Impartial Medical Examinations and Medical/Chiropractic Peer Reviews to support the claim management process. He also has provided IME and file review services for numerous insurance companies, managed care organizations, third party payers and attorneys. In the past, Dr. DiDomenico has served on the board for the Eastern Ohio Chiropractic Society.

Over the years, Dr. DiDomenico has provided educational lectures related to sports medicine, as well as whiplash injury education to insurance companies, managed care organizations and attorneys. and has appeared on local radio talk shows.

Dr. DiDomenico has provided sideline physician care for over 30 years to multiple local high school football and basketball teams and has had the opportunity to evaluate and treat many high school, collegiate, and professional athletes over the years to help them recover from their injuries and return safely to their sports. Previously, he has also had the privilege of covering the annual AVP Pro Beach Volleyball venue in Cleveland, Ohio.

His practice is limited to the evaluation and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in a comprehensive approach that is efficient, practical, and supports the best interests of each individual patient. He has experience treating a wide variety of patients, from the injured worker, young and seasoned athletes to elderly patients. He continues to collaborate with local primary care physicians, neurologists, orthopedists, neurosurgeons, and physiatrists dedicated to providing optimal health and well-being of all his patients. He believes in evaluating and identifying the root cause of the patient’s problem followed by an individualized conservative approach and makes the proper medical specialty referrals and recommendations when alternative or surgical treatment is required.
