Ohio Sports & Spine Opens Office in Howland; Expands Services with Physical Therapy, Medical Marijuana Evaluations

HOWLAND, Ohio (April 3, 2019) – Ohio Sports & Spine Institute, a regional medical practice and rehabilitation center, today opened its new office in Howland, located at 8720 E. Market St., Suite 10.

The 3,000-square foot building houses chiropractic and physical therapy services, work-related injury treatment, sports medicine, nerve testing, acupuncture treatment and medical marijuana evaluations.

Joseph Cerimele, D.O., John Dunne, D.O., and Andrew Hospodar, D.C. are accepting new patients at the new location.

Mike Morris, a licensed physical therapist, was recently hired to support the expansion and brings more than 12 years of experience. The McDonald native is an athletic trainer for the high school’s football team and performs concussion testing for all of McDonald high school’s sports teams.

“Mike has a lot of experience working with athletes and will continue to strengthen our physical therapy program,” said Stephanie Porter, physical therapy manager. “We’re glad to welcome him during this exciting time of growth.”

Prior to expanding to Howland, the group practiced at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Warren.

“The larger space in our new location enables us to provide physical therapy services we could not offer at Hillside,” Dr. Dunne said. “This is very important to treating workers’ compensation injuries for Trumbull County patients. Now we can deliver the comprehensive care under one facility to expedite the recovery process and get people back on the job quicker.”

The group provides treatment options for musculoskeletal injuries, sports and automobile injuries, migraines, nerve damage, strokes and neuromuscular diseases.

Current and new patients may schedule appointments at the new office by calling the office at (330) 469-2519. Most forms of insurance are accepted.
