Ohio Sports & Spine to Open New Office in Howland, Expand Services

HOWLAND, Ohio (March 25, 2019) – Ohio Sports & Spine Institute, a regional medical practice and rehabilitation center, today announced plans to expand and offer services at its new office in Howland, located at 8720 E. Market St., Suite 10. It will open April 1.

Physicians and physical therapists will offer comprehensive care, including chiropractic and physical therapy services, sports medicine, nerve testing, acupuncture treatment and medical marijuana evaluations.

Joseph Cerimele, D.O., a physician board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation who is trained in electromyography will provide EMG diagnostic procedures. EMGs are important in the diagnostic treatment of patients with carpal tunnel, arthritis, pinched nerves, tingling or numbness in the arms or legs and other neurological conditions. Dr. Cerimele has treated patients across the Mahoning Valley for more than 25 years.

Andrew Hospodar, D.C., a chiropractic physician board-certified in sports medicine and a licensed acupuncturist, will also see patients at the new office. Acupuncture can be effective in easing pains that are often chronic in the lower back, neck and knees, and in reducing the frequency of tension headaches and preventing migraines. Dr. Hospodar has treated patients in the Boardman office since 2015.

John Dunne, D.O., a physician who specializes in treating workplace injuries, will also see patients at the new location. He will also offer evaluations for individuals with medical conditions that may qualify for medical marijuana. Dr. Dunne has been in practice for more than 25 years.

“We are excited about expanding our services in Trumbull County,” said Dr. Cerimele.

“Our comprehensive treatment plans allow our patients to receive all the care they need from one location. We’re one of few medical practices in the area that provide on-site rehabilitation services.”

Current and new patients may schedule appointments at the new office by calling the office at (330) 469-2519. Most forms of insurance are accepted.
